The Soap-Nut Tree
Sapindus rarak is not only one of FORRU's favourite framework tree species for restoring upland evergreen forest, it is produces a natural soap and is the focus of genetic studies under the Global Tree Seed Bank Unlocked project with RBG Kew.
Planting Event with FORRU
FORRU organized a successful planting event at Pong Yaeng Nork village, Mae Rim, Chiang Mai, in collaboration with various organizations and enthusiastic school kids from the Young Forest Restorer (YFR) program.
SIG - Planting Event
