Noppawan Lomwong (Prai)
Noppawan is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Environmental Science, at Chiang Mai University. She graduated from Kasetsart University with a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Environmental Technology and Management in 2020 and 2023, respectively. After M.Sc. graduation, she gained experience as a researcher at Kasetsart University in the realm of tropical forest ecology utilizing advanced statistical techniques on field and remote sensing data, particularly employing LiDAR technology for forest carbon estimation.
For her Ph.D., she is focusing on the field of forest ecology and remote sensing, specifically the utilization of field, LiDAR and hyperspectral data to elucidate the spatiotemporal dynamics of forest structure and composition along a gradient of forest succession in Khao Yai National Park, in collaboration with the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD)
