Dr. Vilaiwan Anusarnsunthorn

Dr. Vilaiwan co-founded FORRU-CMU in 1994. She was also instrumental in establishing the Herbarium Building in Chiang Mai University's Biology Department (where FORRU-CMU offices are located) and in organizing establishment of FORRU-CMU's first tree nursery on Doi Suthep. From 1994, until her retirement in 2005, Dr. Vilaiwan managed the unit's relationships with other organizations, dealt with administrative issues, helped to organize educational events and supervised research students.
