Anusit Konghor (James)

Anusit or James, helped to run the FORRU-Krabi tree nursery in Khlong Thom District, Krabi Province since early days of the project, collecting seeds, performing nursery experiments and raising saplings ready for planting out in experimental plots. He was also responsible as a field and research assistant for the Forest on Blackboard project, creating a teachers' manual  to enable local children to get involved with environmental problem solving. Even though our Krabi projects are no longer active, James still runs occasional educational experiences for visiting groups. He has also now established his own tree nursery, supplying saplings of lowland evergreen forest tree species to local farmers and tourism resorts.
