Nut graduated from the Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University with a bachelor’s degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism. He joined FORRU-CMU in 2022, as a part-time field officer, assisting occasionally with field work and education events. He remains a researcher with DSNC Seed Bank, supported by Plant Genetic Conservation Project, under the Royal Initiation of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (RSPG) and Doi Suthep Nature Center .
