Maxime Réjou-Méchain

Language:
Maxime Réjou-Méchain
Researcher and Advisor

Maxime is a permanent researcher at the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD) and has been hosted in CMU Biology Department since September 2023. As a forest ecologist, his work combines field measurements, remote sensing and statistical models to understand the spatiotemporal organization of tropical forest composition and structure. His current main research interest is exploring the potential of combining field data with multisource and multiscale remote sensing products, such as LiDAR and hyperspectral data, to better understand the drivers and potential of unassisted natural forest regeneration in Southeast Asia.
