Rattanamon Aisao (Som)
Som graduated with a B.Sc. in Ecology from Chiang Mai University in 2012. She joined FORRU-CMU in 2016 as an Education Officer. She worked on the "Forests on Blackboards" project, sponsored by the Keidanren Nature Conservation Foundation and organized and implemented a wide range of education and outreach activities . She switched to part-time education officer in 2018, as she started work on her M.Sc., investigating the use of tropical, deciduous, tree-seedling traits to predict drought tolerance, which she complete in May 2023. Her study increased understanding of how plant functional traits can be used to select suitable species for forest restoration. Since leaving FORRU-CMU, she has worked on landscape assessments for reducing PM2.5 pollution and establishing an agriculture study centre in Kenya.
