Mr. Kyuho Lee
Kyuho, gained a B.Sc. (Agr.) in Forestry from Chungnam National University, South Korea, and worked in the Korea National Park Service and Korea Program for International Agriculture (KOPIA) Cambodia Center. In 2019, he won a CMU Presidential Scholarship and enrolled in CMU's MSc Environmental Science Program . He opted to pursue his thesis research project with FORRU-CMU, on automated monitoring of forest restoration; investigating how conventional RGB photography from a drone might be used to assess forest degradation and plan restoration. The field costs of his research were partially supported by a small project support grant from FORRU-CMU. His work was published in the journal "Forests" in 2023 and received a merit award from CMU in early 2024.
